2025 SEACAA Annual Conference Recap

Resilient in Action and Rooted in Purpose: Advancing Community Action

Charlotte, North Carolina | October 14–17, 2025

The 2025 SEACAA Annual Conference brought together hundreds of Community Action leaders, advocates, and partners from across the Southeast for four powerful days of learning, collaboration, and celebration in Charlotte, North Carolina. This year’s theme, “Resilient in Action and Rooted in Purpose,” served as a guiding force as agencies shared strategies, solutions, and stories that reflected the enduring spirit of Community Action in challenging times.

Inspiring Sessions and Speakers

The conference featured a dynamic lineup of plenary speakers, workshops, and breakout sessions covering topics such as leadership development, childcare, housing, workforce innovation, finance, HR, and wellness. Attendees engaged in thought-provoking discussions, hands-on learning, and peer exchange designed to strengthen agency capacity and impact.

Special Events and Engagement

From the energetic opening session to the Carnival Celebration and Awards Luncheon, attendees experienced a balance of professional growth and community connection. The Young Professionals networking sessions added interactive and reflective moments throughout the week, fostering a sense of unity and rejuvenation.
