Blue Ridge Community Action, Inc. (BRCA) is proud to announce its intent to apply for funding under the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). This vital funding opportunity will allow BRCA to continue its mission of empowering individuals and families in our community to achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life.
The Community Services Block Grant is a cornerstone of anti-poverty efforts, providing essential resources to Community Action Agencies across the nation. For over 50 years, BRCA has utilized CSBG funding to implement programs and services tailored to meet the unique needs of the communities it serves, including workforce development, early childhood education, housing assistance, and emergency support services.
