Blue Ridge Community Action, Inc. (BRCA) is proud to announce its intent to apply for funding under the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). This vital funding opportunity will allow BRCA to continue its mission of empowering individuals and families in our community to achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life.

The Community Services Block Grant is a cornerstone of anti-poverty efforts, providing essential resources to Community Action Agencies across the nation. BRCA is committed to engaging with residents, community stakeholders, and local organizations to ensure the CSBG funding is directed toward initiatives that align with community priorities. By leveraging this grant, BRCA plans to expand its capacity to address pressing issues such as:

  • Economic Development: Job training programs and resources to help individuals secure stable employment.
  • Housing Stability: Assistance for families facing housing insecurity and homelessness prevention efforts.
  • Education and Youth Empowerment: Programs that provide children and youth with the tools they need to succeed academically and socially.
