KCEOC Head Start Named Program of Excellence by National Head Start Association
The KCEOC Community Action Partnership’s Head Start program has been honored as one of only 12 recipients of the prestigious Program of Excellence Accreditation by the National Head Start Association (NHSA). This recognition reflects the program’s commitment to providing outstanding early childhood education and comprehensive services to children and families in the Gray community.
The Program of Excellence Accreditation is NHSA’s top distinction, awarded to Head Start and Early Head Start programs that demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and performance. Recipients undergo a rigorous three-month application process, showcasing their work across NHSA’s 44 Indicators of Excellence. These indicators evaluate every facet of the program, from educational outcomes to family and community partnerships, operational management, and program sustainability.
